CCC was then engaged to complete a financial, legal and integrity review as part of the due-diligence process. CCC also completed an integrity compliance assessment and an independent review of documents provided, such as financial statements and shareholder information. The results of the review were then passed on to DND, Abdillahi said.

That process would normally be handled by Public Services and Procurement Canada , as its name suggests.

Give Ukrainians equipment that they do not know how to use after going through a Government bidding process requiring detailed specifications drawn up by teams of lawyers then examined by another team of lawyers, vetted, picked and built..2035 delivery?

It does raise que. Why another country had more clout in the procurement decision making process then our own 🇨🇦 vetting process? What is the link between 🇺🇦 & this contractor? How come our own military will not receive any of these units?

It's been obvious for quite a while that Canada should simply buy off the shelf military equipment from the US, regardless of what it is. We'd save so much time & money.

I'm surprised Ottawa is sending armoured vehicles to Ukraine. I thought the city needed as many military vehicles as possible in case Canadian citizens dare to peacefully protest for the right to work and the right to choose.

Its a war. There isnt time to drag our feet doing the “canadian military equipment procurement” dance. The Ukrainians need armoured vehicles, they get armoured vehicles. Its an urgent operational requirement.
