Jennifer Jones,Brad Jacobs,Grand Slam Of Curling

Jennifer Jones and Brad Jacobs secured victories in the early draw of the Grand Slam of Curling's Players' Championship after suffering lopsided losses in the tournament opener. Jones defeated Italy's Stefania Constantini with a score of 8-5, while Jacobs won against Kevin Koe with a score of 6-5. This will be Jones' last Grand Slam event as she plans to retire from four-player curling.

TORONTO — Jennifer Jones and Brad Jacobs bounced back from lopsided tournament-opening losses with victories in Wednesday's early draw at the Grand Slam of Curling's Players' Championship.

Jacobs, from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., scored two in the eighth end in a 6-5 win over Calgary's Kevin Koe. He was at the wrong end of a rare curling shutout on Tuesday, losing 9-0 to Scotland's Bruce Mouat.
