The Canucks scored five unanswered goals in the third period and Bo Horvat notched his first NHL 🧢trick as Vancouver surged back to beat the DetroitRedWings. imacSportsnet reports ⤵️

Playing their fourth road game in six nights and trailing by two going into the third period, the Canucks poured in five goals to beat the Red Wings 5-2 and win for the sixth time in seven National Hockey League games.

Horvat’s deflection under Howard’s glove tied it 2-2 at 3:12 of the final period, 90 seconds after the Canucks centre had calmly collected the loose puck from Hughes’ shot and steered it around the netminder to cut into the Wings’ 2-0 lead. After Tyler Myers followed Boeser to the Canucks’ penalty box late in the first period, the Red Wings needed only 20 seconds of their two-man advantage before Anthony Mantha powered a one-timer past Vancouver goalie Jacob Markstrom at 16:08.
