DwnDak Every time Headlines are printed declaring the US as the new COVID19 epicenter, they are repeating Chinese communist party propaganda. They are clearly lying about their numbers.
Hate China for creating homelessness in many countries by buying apartment buildings and renting apartments at 600% as much with no rent control. There is no affordable housing for minimum wage workers because of them.
When you remove the 'Official numbers' that China has added to the percentages of dead and recovered then look at the rates for the rest of the world, I think you get a much better.. and scarier understanding of what the Death Toll will really be like.

China is lying, they have had many, many, many more cases than they reported. The US has 350000000 people and they are accelerating their testing, this is not unusual.
