A report of smoke coming from a home in the 2600 block of Sanderson Road at approximately 5:20 p.m. Thursday saw two Prince George Fire Rescue halls responding.

Crews found smoke coming from an open door to a residential structure. A quick response from fire crews contained the fire to the room of origin. The home's three occupants escaped without injury.
