Body found at Canada Games Way in Prince George, police treating death as suspicious

Prince George RCMP are treating a discovery of a body near the Civic Centre on Thursday morning as a suspicious death.

Police have cordoned off the north side of the building and the serious crimes unit has been called in to investigate, Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said, adding that the detachment will also be liaising with forensic identification unit and the coroner service. The finding was reported to RCMP shortly after 6 a.m. and police are asking that anyone with information pertinent to this investigation or who has dash cam footage from the area at about that time to call the non-emergency line, 250-561-3300, to speak with an investigator.
