By sending it to collection agency, her credit score got a hit for sure. Hope Enterprise rectified the damage they made to her credit 🙄

Thanks CBC 'Go Public' and Keli for reporting about Enterprise & wrong claims. I rent from an Enterprise company for years, but they MADE me noticed any flaws that I missed. For your support, I will use another rental Co. Glad things worked out for you & other similar situations.

I rent cars from Enterprise a lot when I travel. I would never sign off on a car with snow and ice on the roof and hood etc. For one thing, I always require the car to be freshly washed. I would have picked a different car. Enterprise lets you do that.

Scoretowin FCACan ConsumersCanada These are not one offs. They are part of a bisiness strategy to grind down clients. Most knuckle under and pay. A few fight (and get ignored). And the odd one gets media attention to which company genuflects and settles 'in the public interest'. BS.

Why do big companies like Enterprise need media outlets to shame them with a GO PUBLIC media event , shaming them , before they do the right thing cdnpoli

Go Public is like lottery. If you are lucky enough to have your story selected your claim gets dropped but you know Enterprise is just going to slide the $5k onto some other poor sap.

I had a similar situation with Enterprise car rental, but I did photos/videos time/date showing during the walk around with the customer service rep. They lost their claim against and they now refuse me service but it's more lost then mine.
