Never has so much money been dedicated so quickly to combating an economic meltdown which so desperately needs it - while opening up so many gaping loopholes for a money grab. If executives take eager advantage of interest free loans and pocket huge subsidies despite having a deep pile of cash in the vault, they should be forced to pay it back in the pandemic afterworld.
But beyond making future efforts to catch any unscrupulous enterprises grabbing easy money just because they can, Trudeau should also warn he’ll steal a page from Doug Ford’s playbook.

'Trudeau govt' and 'Trust' - words that cannot be used anywhere near each other. I'll take my chances with some short delays with a good opposition to keep them in check. That is best for Canada, as they've proven that they can't be trusted to do what is right...repeatedly.
