CPS seeks 'voluntary compliance' from its officers after commission bans thin blue line patches | CBC News

The Calgary Police Service says it's using 'voluntary compliance' as its first approach to getting officers to stop wearing the thin blue line patch.

"We encourage each and everyone of you to wear this important symbol in defiance of the order from the commission," Orr said in the letter. The Calgary Police Service said it doesn't have details on whether members are continuing to wear the patches.

The patch is a thin blue line,not a thin white line.The police commission is brainwashed group of appointed civilians who are being given false information on the issue Council Carra continues to support his area for political reasons which serve him and his own values.

The “thin blue line” literally means laws that apply to others do not apply to us.
