CPPIB ended the quarter with net assets of $409.5 billion, compared with $400.6 billion at the end of the previous quarter

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board , the country’s biggest public pension fund, on Thursday reported a 2.2 per cent return on its investments for the second quarter.

Its net income rose to $9.2 billion from $4.1 billion in the last quarter and $2.3 billion a year ago.
