Good luck with people living in the area.

this is a trudeau liberals canada we should be ashamed

Just wait till all that crown land is deemed FREE too all CANADIAN RESIDENTS born in CANADA ...

Tent city residents of CityofVancouver (picture taken some time ago) can enjoy balmy weather versus harsh Ontario winter conditions. But neither city is good to battle rampant housing crisis. What happened with slogan, 'BC, the best place on Earth'? CBCTheNational nationalpost

People should be able to pitch a tent anywhere they want, except downtown Ottawa. That would cause climate change and an increase in white supremacy.

Municipalities should generate revenue by selling the parks to a private company and the land becomes private property.

If there are enough basic shelter spots, then clear the camps. They want to do drugs in a shelter but arent allowed? Too bad. Sjw judge living in a fantasy world.

Uh...this ruling isn't out of the blue, is it? BC supreme court already made a similar ruling I thought?

Permissiveness progress.

If ten years ago you described accurately what Trudeau's Canada looked like people would not believe you. 'That will never happen here'

Time for an appeal

Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?

Ask the churches if they’d rather pay taxes or give the homeless a place to sleep.

Toronto shelter system employees make $200k a year salaries! A single shelter bed costs $40k a year!! Bureaucrats need job security and more funding for the inefficient shelter system.

Activist judges could be eliminated from the Canadian legal system if we could elect our judges like Americans do.

We call them homeless as if the lack of homes was the root cause of their situation, but the real issue is substance abuse and mental health… resulting in their inability to maintain a home. You can’t just put them in a home and hope for the best, they need medical help.

Are they going to do that for tenants that can’t afford rent as well? Or mortgages? If you can afford to pay either it’s illegal for them to evict you cause it violates your rights? 😂

These people have it hard enough sleeping outside and trying to survive. Instead of trying to sweep away the problem from the public, how about we look to getting these people sheltered and a means for them to achieve it.

The 2.5 million people being imported into Canada should help alleviate situations like this. About 2 million will end up in the GTA and a half million in Vancouver. All this will probably help healthcare too.

Ontario judge denies request to clear Kitchener homeless encampment citing Charter violationThe Region of Waterloo had asked an Ontario court to find that roughly 50 people living in an encampment in Kitchener were in violation of its trespassing bylaw Would be a shame if the residents of the encampment were to relocate to the courthouse grounds or, perhaps, that judge’s front yard. wow nice. With more Canadians working remotely and preferring to not to work at the office maybe they could convert offices into homes for the homeless. fordnation maybe Doug can build more affordable housing instead of building 3000 sq homes on greenbelt land for the benefit of his rich friends

Judge denies request to clear Kitchener encampment citing Charter violationThe Region of Waterloo was asking the court to find that roughly 50 people were in violation of its trespassing bylaw. Does the judge care to give out his address so his neighbourhood can be used as a camp ground? Give the judge's address so the encampment moves out of the park and all these people go crap at the judge's door. C'mon, share the shit, will you? Because we're all fed up with these people shitting in our parks already 🤮🤮🤮
