Municipal councillors recently approved a five-year capital investment plan that includes everything from water and sewer projects to vehicle replacements, information technology upgrades and adding more generators at wastewater treatment plants.
“Work on this project will begin immediately in 2024 with the searching for a suitable piece of land to locate the new facility,” Morrison said. “No decisions have yet been made as to what the new facility will include. “I know that some people might be scared by the dollar value of that but when you break it down per year, it’s really not that scary,” Coun. Dustin Enslow said. “Our capital plan is positive and aggressive,” Morrison said. “Not being positive and aggressive will result in our communities falling behind. We need to be positive and aggressive for community growth.”
