City partnering with East Village Animal Hospital to host clinic for pet owners with a net income below $40,000

If you are a pet owner with a net income below $40,000 a year, the City of Greater Sudbury and East Village Animal Hospital have teamed up to offer a low-cost veterinary clinic on May 1.Those interested must pre-register by emailing or calling 519-894-2323.

The clinic will be held at the Ryan Heights Playground Field House, 736 Bruce Ave., from 12-6 p.m. on May 1. The cost of a dog or cat examination and core vaccinations is $30 plus tax per pet. Microchipping will also be available for $30 plus tax. “If the clinic is full, residents may ask to be placed on a waiting list or to preregister for a future spay and neuter clinic for low-income pet owners,” a release from the city states.

Residents who preregister for the vaccination clinic or the future spay/neuter clinic are asked to verify their income upon arrival with proof of government assistance or Notice of Assessment.
