Canada's national public-health authority considers taking a walk outside a low risk activity for healthy people, as long as they keep a two-metre distance from one another.
The City of London, Ont., also brought in several new measures to make sure pedestrians are given the room they need to pass each other when out and about, including closing roads. “We should not make it easier or more convenient for people to come outside unless for grocery trips; pharmacy; essential work and humanitarian reasons,” Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson wrote on social media over the weekend.
“I am receiving hundreds of emails from people asking for space to walk,” said one urban councillor, Catherine McKenney.
I see now why big cities are having such high transmission rates...why are there that many people out? They surely can't all be on their way to work or to buy emergency supplies! Walking about chatting on your phone you are not attuned to your surroundings. Go home!

Or just stay home when it’s busy out . I run early in the morning literally no people out other than me on the sidewalk. I sure as hell didn’t go walking or get groceries mid afternoon on Sat & Sun. People need to start using common sense
