Twelve Canadians who have been detained in the Dominican Republic since last spring learned Friday that they are going home.
The crew and passengers had their passports confiscated and were detained in what they describe as deplorable conditions in a Dominican jail. At the prison for men, the crew members say they went days without food or water, and were under constant threats. The crew and passengers say they were never once interviewed by Dominican authorities and no charges were ever laid against them.

Regardless of how the drugs got in the plane, the whistle blower was obviously not involved. I feel so bad for the innocent and their families. And I’m so embarrassed that I’m just hearing about this now. So happy they are finally free and coming home.
Lol imagine an entire airline crew and pilot detained and barely made the news yet every outlet spam the basket player jailed in Russia. Guess it comes down to a popularity contest

Even though I assume all ate innocent But Canada Must do its investigation and find out who amongst them is involved. Our Kids are dying of this Pathetic Drug abuse, it's time we have zero tolerance whomever tries to bring drugs or guns to our country.
