' That's essentially urging for regime change in Russia, writes Bhagwant Sandhu,Where to next with Ukraine? If it were left to the ideological hawks, the answer would be more bombs, more death, more destruction. Trudeau would have been wiser dealing with our depleted military rather than teaming up with the CBC to bash our covid trucker supply chain heroes. He would have been better visiting the Agha Kahn.

Do you have any ideas, short of surrendering the Ukraine to Russia, that Russia would accept?

You know what peace is? The aggressor nation (Russia) immediately halts its illegal invasion, and removes its forces from the nation whose sovereignty it violated (Ukraine). Then Russia removes its mercenaries in the Donbas, and returns Crimea to Ukraine. Peace in our time.

First Nations leaders renew call to stop B.C. pipeline projects as UN raps Canada | Globalnews.caBoth pipelines have government permits and approvals from many elected band councils, but neither have obtained consent from all Indigenous peoples whose land they cross. The pipeline was shortsighted in the extreme. It showed successive governments have failed Canadians. That is our own fault. Pipelines provide taxes, taxes pay for social benefits for all Canadians, so if one opposes pipelines where do you expect your social benefits to come from ? The core value of democracy and freedom in the mouth of the Canadian government! It will change for different people, different things, and different places! In fact, differential treatment is the core; equal treatment is just a fake coat!
