With so much mental illness and addiction in our society I think it would be so beneficial to have walk-in clinics that specialize in these issues throughout the city providing quick easy access to qualified staff. This should free up hospitalizations and policing requirements.

Most police forces have been trying to get away from duties such as mental health response for years. The question should be posed to social services why they continuously refuse to do those jobs.
