Belleville police responded to 417 calls for service between 5 a.m. on June 30, 2023 and 5 a.m. on July 4, 2023.On June 30, 2023 at 3:56 p.m., police were called to Dundas St. West and Sidney St. regarding a motor vehicle which struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. The investigation revealed the pedestrian, a 29-year-old male from Belleville was at fault and was subsequently issued an offence notice for failing to cross at a crosswalk.
