Halifax Regional Police release Dartmouth suspect’s name and photo | SaltWire #news #novascotiaLeafs coach Sheldon Keefe told media in Boston on Tuesday morning that there was “no determination” as to whether Auston Matthews would play in Game 5 at TD Garden against the Bruins on Tuesday night.

After dominating Game 2 in the best-of-seven series last week — the only win for the Leafs, who find themselves in a 3-1 hole — Matthews missed two practices and a morning skate because of illness. He didn’t have a point in either of the past two games and was pulled after the second period of Game 4 by the Leafs’ medical staff.Speculation is increasing that the star centre is dealing with an injury as well.

Matthews’ potential impact if he dresses for Game 5 is debatable. The Leafs practised on Monday like they figured he would not be playing, using Max Domi between Tyler Bertuzzi and Mitch Marner on the top line. None of the four lines in practice had placeholders, though if Matthews does suit up, we’re going to see a trickle-down effect with the lines.

In goal, Keefe is expected to turn to Joseph Woll to help try to extend the Leafs’ season. If it looks like desperation, it is to a degree. In 10 starts after returning from an ankle injury on Feb. 29, Woll was 4-6-0 with a .890 save percentage.
