3M Strikes Deal With Trump Administration To Continue Mask Exports

WASHINGTON — 3M says it will continue to send its coveted N95 respirators to Canada after reaching an agreement with the White House to import millions of the increasingly scarce medical face masks from China for use in the United States.

3M says it worked with the Trump administration to make sure it could meet soaring American demand for the N95 masks without sacrificing its ability to provide the life-saving equipment to customers in Canada and Latin America.U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Apr. 6, 2020 in Washington, DC.

I wish someone punch him in the head. He needs to come to the reality that he dont rule the world. His me me me attitude needs an adjustment.

3M has manufacturing facilities around the world. They have been shipping parts, supplies, and completed masks from most of them to USA. After SARS 3M deliberately built excess capacity into all their new plants including extra machinery. 3M planned ahead.

More PPE needed ASAP

Playing nice has not gotten us anywhere with this buffoon. We should band together with our respectable allies of the world and counter and implement countermeasures. Sadly to say this is the only way to get through to this bumbling idiot, POTUS ,of a president the USA has.

Of course U.S. will send supplies to Canada cause Canada threatened not to send them the paper (only made in Canada) to enable 3M to make the masks. No masks for us then no supplies for 3M to make them. Shouldn't have come to this. Should be there for each other. More Trump B.S.
