“The danger from air is the most critical question now. Our army is great on the land but the amount of bombs and rockets Russia is throwing on us is enormous,” Ms Vrublevska said. The 28-year-old photographer is documenting life in a basement bomb shelter, with women, children and the elderly living in cramped conditions.“It feels like a parallel reality now, when each morning you start with checking if your mum and dad are still alive, are your friends still there,” she said.
