A new report has found 85 per cent of young Victorians from multicultural backgrounds have experienced direct racism during the coronavirus pandemic - but only six per cent have reported their experiences.

16 September: Survey finds international students in Australia are experiencing racism during pandemic

"That is a strong hypothesis. Certainly, some of the other data on mental health shows the pandemic is impacting young people most profoundly. But what is so important about this report is often we don't collect data in a way that we can disaggregate the experience for multicultural young people.

"I have been afraid to also call out racism directly in a very straightforward and assertive manner for the fear of my own safety because I don't want anyone to lash out at me physically, or even verbally, just scream at me in public in front of people or harm me physically," she said.

Well. That says a lot. So which races and/or cultures are we race baiting with today? I'm from a multicultural background, but this isn't quite clear who SBS is targetting. Something like Indian, Chinese, Italian, Italian-Chinese was it? Where we at guys? My homies are confused!

2 minutes video no one should skip: Dr. Yan: the coronavirus was made in the lab to target human by the Chinese Communist Party!

Australian laws forbid discrimination based on race. Yet you promote groups who want peivileges for certain races, like Greens. That's where the real racism is

A new Report ......Yep

SBS Everyone claiming victimhood, it’s the fashion now.

My god, what a load of crap, SBS and ABC thrive on racism and trying to divide the country

muh racism Getting tired of this bullsh*t, Australia is the least racist country in the world, prove me wrong. auspol

Lol I thought our PM etc. were so certain that Australia has no racism against Asians problem, like they repeatedly stated.

Media is the real virus....hate hate hate. Together we can do anything.

That's odd as I have worked with/for hundreds of multicultural individuals (me being one) and perhaps 1% have had some type of stereotypical jibe.... Mostly in jest.
