The developer overseeing this massive apartment project, Ganellen, released a statement saying the company is devastated and indicated this is its first on site fatality in 20 years of operation.
"We will miss him dearly... Christopher was the jewel of our family," Joe Cassaniti told media today. "You have been my friend since the first day of kindergarten … words can't express how much this hurts," Bella Mineo said. "We wish you all the best that the world can dish out and May God be forever in your heart and bless you with much joy, happiness and most importantly health," she posted to Facebook last week.
As many as nine ambulance units, a Careflight helicopter and multiple Fire and Rescue NSW crews were deployed to the site to assist with the operation.

Ummm why are the police even on the scene of a construction site accident to start with? A site that big would have it's own response team which would be in control of the situation. Until medics fire rescue teams take over.
