Sky News senior reporter carolinemarcus says people have to be in a “pretty privileged position” to follow Prince Harry’s advice and “quit their jobs to make themselves happy”.

Sky News senior reporter Caroline Marcus says people have to be in a “pretty privileged position” to follow Prince Harry’s advice and “quit their jobs to make themselves happy”.

The Duke of Sussex has advised people to quit jobs which do not bring them joy, saying it was “something to be celebrated”. “I think this guy is so out of touch with the everyday person who does not have the luxury to think of work as much more than living pay check to pay check, trying to support their families, trying to keep their head above water in a global pandemic,” Ms Marcus told Sky News host Rowan Dean.“I mean there’s a reason it’s called work and not holiday because for most people it’s work.

“Frankly a lot of people will find it offensive that they’re hearing this type of lecture from someone who’s never held down a real job in his life.”
