Foreign governments accuse China of committing genocide against Uyghurs and detaining about a million people, and community leaders in Australia want the government here to recognise the alleged atrocities.

Uyghur community leaders say Australia should be ashamed for allowing a Chinese government propaganda presentation to take place, and have called for the alleged atrocities against the minority group to be labelled a genocide.

In the videos, one woman featured said she has put in an intrauterine device voluntarily while another emphasised she has been more satisfied with her life after receiving "training" from one of the re-education camps. Six speakers from Uyghur background also shared their "real stories" that echoed the Party's narrative after the screening. Most of them were women, too.

Terrorists

CCP are assholes

UNHumanRights will this ever be stopped?

Twitter bots, are automated Twitter accounts controlled by bot software. They are programmed to perform tasks that resemble everyday Twitter users — such as liking tweets, following other users — their purpose is to tweet and retweet content for specific goals on a large scale.

They are paid agitators by western propaganda. The West has lost all credulity toward caring for individuals.

How many people are actually employed to write the pro ccp tweets? Or are they actually all bots?

Get ready to meet your maker ...all you ignorant people. God will judge all wicked people soon. No where to run or hide..no money..no military will save you. Believe it...scoff if you like...injustice will soon end.

Forcing us take side with the allegations without evidence? We need job too don't forget not long ago, 'China turns to US coal to fill void created by Australia import ban, offers trade deal boost' -scmp

let me guess. these Uyghur leaders are currently living in the US or about to get the Green card from the US government

Australia should do something. After all, Muslims would fight for us, right?

Wheres the UN?

Who are the Uyghur leaders?

Wonderland Land my arse. Propaganda push to undermine Australia. It is all lies and the CCP know it. Our government and people must denounce this rubbish.

1/3 Can someone please tell me why it is always the same person who shows up in these Uyghur stories?

If it wasn’t for the Tiananmen Square massacre, Hong Kong, threatening to invade Taiwan on a daily basis, cyber attacks, IP theft and stealing territory in the South China Sea the world might actually believe China. Not to mention Covid origins...🖕

Sophiemcneill Why would these 'Uyghur leaders' be furious? Everyone else in the world has to listen to the western imperialist propaganda about Xinjiang. Surely these guys can handle a dissenting opinion without getting furious. They sound like pretty crappy 'leaders'.

Australia's silence? What about the rest of the world? Why is Australia being targeted by both sides?

But sports men tell we China is misunderstood. MBA

ABC sure loves to copy and paste

No the US owns Australian businesses. China something like 7% us 21%

China's idea of peace is to expect compliance and silence from the other countries. China genocide, murder, invasions, coercion, threatening neighbours, cyber crimes, list goes on... The world must unite against China, the enemy to the world. ChinaEnemyToTheWorld BoycottChina

Sophiemcneill Self appointed Uyghur leaders in exile are furious that China was given a platform to counter the lies dished up by these regime change advocates. How dare the chinese be allowed any freedom to tell their side of the story!!! That's freedom of speech, and we don't agree at all!

Look at us dance on grass while behind the camera is the concentration I mean re-education camp

Hello 50 cent bots!

Uyghur leaders are the CIA ... propaganda to “contain” China economic rise.... 🔥🐉

Australia is cucked because trade. China owns half of Australian land anyways

The CCP is starting to show who it really is and the world just stands by and accepts it. It's a sad world that we live in. I hope the Uyghur's stay strong in those camps......

Absolute disgrace. And here in Aus, we also have plenty of chinese UyghurGenocide deniers who love spreading anti-Australian hate. Such as Xi_Fan Why do we even allow chinese communist party children to live here?

Cuz ABC is second BBC, you know A and B

Uyghur leaders? Who are they ? Are they the same people organiz the terror attack to Han people ?

This is what uighur terrorista did in urumqi.. but no western propaganda media mention about it. The threat of Uighur terrorism is real, unlike US propaganda of iraq's WMD.

ABC show they support

As if

China issuing 'direct threat' a call for Australia to 'stand up' for itself | Sky News AustraliaFormer Labor minister Stephen Conroy says the Chinese embassy’s address to the National Press Club of Australia just “makes the case” for Australia to ‘stand up” for its values and what it thinks is in the “national interest”.\n\n“I think they are actually making the case for us – despite the somewhat quirky analogy of milking the cow and then wanting to slaughter it – that was another direct threat to Australian business interests,” he said.\n\n“That if you want to disagree with China, if your government wants to expose, point out, hold up China to serious scrutiny and criticise it – you will be punished.\n\n“I don’t mind them going on Australian television, making complete fools of themselves and broadcasting propaganda, and I certainly don’t mind them openly, albeit with a slightly quirky example, again threatening Australian business along the way.\n\n“Because it just makes the case about why we have to stand up for our values and stand up for what we believe is in our national interest.'\n\n China can go jump. imo What are Australian values exactly? Pandering to religious cults? Imprisoning innocent children? Committing war crimes and then having those criminals sit in parliament? Is it protecting rapists and paedophiles? WHO'S VALUES? Ours or the LNPs....

Biden's stance on China and Indo-Pacific 'good news for Australia' | Sky News AustraliaThe Australian's Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says President Joe Biden's policy on China and the Indo-Pacific has been 'very good' - the Afghanistan military withdrawal will free up 'resources' to bolster their Navy in the Indo-Pacific.\n\n'The Biden administration has been very sensible- quite different from the second Obama administration,' Mr Sheridan said.\n\n'On the whole, it has continued Trump policy but I do think on China and the central challenge in the Indo-Pacific he and his whole administration... have been very good. \n\nMr Sheridan pointed to President Biden's efforts in withdrawing troops from Afghanistan to devote more resources to the Indo-Pacific.\n\n'I even think that it's been very good that he's pulled out of Afghanistan and is trying to draw down in the middle-east - because if you're fighting a war in the middle-east you're never going to devote the resources you need in the Pacific.\n\n'The US Navy has shrunk it's too small - can't do what we need it to do, so I think really Biden has been very good on China and the Indo-Pacific.'\n\n Greg wont be invited back Uh oh, programming error at Sky. Cut quickly to Rowan Dean! Thanks Greg. I have been shitting myself with all the war talk from the PM ScottMorrisonMP , senior ministers, senior government officials and SkyNews hosts recently but your comments are very reassuring!

Australia remains open to dialogue after China indefinitely suspends economic accord | Sky News AustraliaTrade Minister Dan Tehan has received bilateral support to keep the conversation flowing with China after the communist power indefinitely suspended its high-level economic dialogue with Australia amid escalating trade tensions.\n\nIn a statement on a Chinese government website, Beijing declared the decision was based on the current attitude of the Australian government towards China-Australia cooperation. \n\nMr Tehan expressed his disappointment with the decision, saying “the Strategic Economic Dialogue … is an important forum for Australia and China to work through issues relevant to our economic partnership'.\n\n“We remain open to holding the dialogue and engaging at the Ministerial level”. \n\nOpposition Leader Anthony Albanese said 'we do need dialogue with China' but it needs to be 'on both countries' terms.' \n\nThis latest dilemma follows the Morrison government forcing Victoria to abandon its Belt and Road deal with China and ongoing debate about the 99-year lease Chinese lease of Darwin Port. \n DanTehanWannon We need build a trade environment without China as long as CCP continues ruling China. China further 'isolating’ itself by suspending economic dialogue with Australia | Sky News AustraliaDefence strategist Tyson Sara says China’s suspension of its economic accord with Australia comes after it ran out of exports to sanction and is “another step” in the communist power “isolating itself”. \n\nIn a statement on a Chinese government website, Beijing declared the decision was based on the current attitude of the Australian government towards China-Australia cooperation.\n\n“They’re not really going to sanction the stuff that they need, and we’ve seen record iron ore prices,” Mr Sara said.\n\n“They can sanction barley, they can sanction wine, they can do some of the things that hurt us that don’t hurt them. \n\n“I think they have run out of those economic levers for now - don’t ever rule it out - but taking this action is just another step in, I think, China isolating itself rather than strengthening its own position.' Is China isolating itself or Australia. Obvious answer. Why are Australia creating conflict with our biggest trading partner. We are a small country. What the hell is this government doing? 🤷🏻‍♂️
