A split second later, Cummins reverted to a last tackle signal, but only after Clive Churchill Medal winner Jack Wighton had spotted his original signal.
Cummins was heard on the referees’ audio to yell out last "tackle five" four times after he stopped signalling for six again.Wighton surrendered with the ball, and James Tedesco iced the match for the Roosters in the next set after Daniel Tupou’s long-range break.Instead of me saying what I think and getting abused by everybody in regards to my [unsportsmanlike] manner, you write what you think."You all saw it," Stuart said of the decision.
"Instead of me saying what I think and getting abused by everybody in regards to my [unsportsmanlike] manner, you write what you think. "The first thing I did when I walked onto the field I went to the four officials and congratulated them. No one goes out there to make a mistake. They’ve got tough jobs. We could have won it and we didn’t. It’s a very empty feeling, losing a grand final."
app85 Sin bin was the wrong call. Last tackle was the right call. Raiders had their chances but they couldn’t cross the line in the second half despite playing within an extra man for 10 mins. As a neutral, I didn’t think the Raiders were dudded at all. Wasted opportunity if anything.
app85 Obviously a bigger man than the majority of Roosters fans who booed Jack Wighton receiving the Clive Churchill medal.
app85 His team couldn’t score It wasn’t 6 again - so it was the right call poorly handled. If Canberra score from that - then THAT is the wrong outcome. As for Bias they put our halfback in the SinBin . Thanks refs Grow up everyone
