Western Australia's most senior judge says anyone who has worked in an industry for any length of time and claims to have never encountered sexual harassment is either 'lying' or 'morally obtuse'.

"And while it might feel reassuring to cast ourselves into polarised groups of 'us' and 'them' – where we are always in the right – in the long run, framing the issue in that way will only serve to perpetuate our blindness to the more insidious aspects of sexism in the workplace."

"Anyone who has worked long enough in any kind of industry or profession who says that they have never witnessed or encountered sexism or discrimination in the workplace is either lying or so morally obtuse that they are unable to see what is in front of their own eyes," he said. "It is difference and diversity of perspective that ultimately makes all of our decision-making better," he said.

Self employed so how does that work

In todays day and age if a man sexually harasses a woman = complaint taken very seriously with serious ramifications for the man usually. Woman sexually harasses the man and man complains = laughed out of the room.

A sensationalist headline but a good article

He may well be complicit, but he doesn’t speak for all of us.

Let’s discuss female bullying in the workplace!

Guilty until proven innocent in this thing's courts.

It would be nice if the powers that be stopped pretending harassment is all by men aimed at women.

I don't think this man is good for advocacy but definitely not the right person to be leading the change. If we want to change sexual harrassment it has to start at a more fundamental cultural level. Such as what is taught at school, what we see on tv. Workplace should be goal

My boss fired me because I wouldn't let him injeculate inside of me. Everbody thought that was fine.

Jordan Peterson is correct re: idiotic climate policies, we are making things worse. Cheap reliable clean nuclear and I dispute those who say it is expensive, it is not. Complying with the unnecessary approval process is.

So if you are truthful in detailing your experience you are considered to be a liar regardless? This will see either a marked decrease in women being hired or experienced qualified men resigning on mass. 🙄

In indigenous or non-indigenous community?

Chief Justice jumps the shark 😂😂😂😂😂
