The worker, believed to be in his 50s, was found just after 10am at the empty container park by his colleagues, who desperately tried to save him.The man had suffered injuries to his whole body, a NSW ambulance spokesman said.One of the colleagues who tried to save him has been taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
Safe Work NSW have been notified and are attending the site, which is run by ACFS Port Logistics and Tyne. A spokesperson, said: "SafeWork NSW is responding to a workplace incident at a Port Botany site today, after a worker sustained fatal crush injuries between two containers. The investigation is ongoing."
