Among the complaints made to ACT Health, some new mums claimed they had waited too long for pain medication.

Mothers are being left in waiting rooms with newborn babies, experiencing delays for stitches and pain medication and being discharged from Canberra's maternity services despite being unwell, according to the ACT's health complaints body.

Women also reported labour inductions being cancelled due to a"lack of beds" and being moved shortly after giving birth. The submission noted that in several complaints, key policies and procedures were breached and there appeared to be no follow-up.

Addressing problematic 'glass ceiling' term is 'empowering' | Sky News AustraliaThe incoming Governor of New South Wales' push to address the problematic nature of the term 'glass ceiling' is an empowering message that gives women agency to act, says Sky News co-host James Morrow.\n\nMargaret Beazley told Sky News 2600 she will address whether the term is creating barriers for women in the workplace while also examining ways businesses can lift the number of women taking on leadership roles.\n\nThe latest figures have shown while women make up 47 per cent of the workforce, they hold fewer than a quarter of all executive positions and take home at least $160,000 less than their male counterparts.\n\n\n It's not the term that is creating barriers. It's the actual barrier that the term refers to. Crikey!

Women may have to wait another 80 years until they're top dogA five-year special investigation into women in leadership finds there's still an average $162,000 pay gap among women running top companies. More fake paygap rubbish. Women in Australia have all the same opportunities as men. Most ppl don’t want to enslave themselves to a career just to attempt to make it to the top. Women have agency & can make their own decisions. Feminists need to stop telling women what to do! Of all places, the ABC should be aware of the downside of placing women in the top job who are out of their depth! Funny story. ABC had female top dog in 1980s... British PM is 1980s. Every state hs had at least one female Premier. Hundreds of female CEOs and business leaders. If you're not one, you're not good enough. Hardly anyone gets it - & plenty more men than women trying to! .

Liberal pick for Stirling hits back against gender bias after beating four women to nominationVince Connelly was the only man in a field of five vying for the seat of Stirling, but says his success doesn't mean the Liberal Party has a problem preselecting women. What the hell else is he going to say... More click bait for the ABC lovies to gag on. No surprises here.
