Woman's death after alleged assault in Perth CBD sparks police investigation, man arrested

abc.net.au/news/woman-dies-in-perth-cbd-police-investigation-underway/101774568A man has been arrested following the death of a 24-year-old woman in Perth's CBD early this morning.They believe she was in a "domestic relationship" with her alleged attackerPolice said the woman was found unresponsive in a car park on Wellington Street just before 3am after she was allegedly assaulted about 500 metres away in Yagan Square.

"We have still got a lot of other procedures that we need to go through before we can confirm exactly what injuries she has," he said. Police say the woman was found on Wellington Street after she was allegedly assaulted nearby in Yagan Square.

Sucks. Somehow Yagan Square always makes me nervous. Saw a woman bath in one of the fountains one.
