Meerkat theft Perth Zoo: Woman spared jail after keeping meerkat in bedroomShe kept a one-month-old meerkitten, stolen from Perth Zoo, in her bedroom until she was caught by police. 9News It was a stupid thing to do, but I doubt either of these people were cruel or meant to put that baby meerkat at risk of getting hurt. But they just didn't think & that's how the little critters do get hurt. How did they know what to feed it or to look after any of its needs? She should be jailed, learn her lesson and suffer the consequences for more than just a few hours. Explaining why she has been to jail to employers would definitely teach her what she needs to learn 🤬 As the old saying goes, 'every Meerkat-thief has its day...'
