A woman who was found dead at her property in Sydney's inner west after allegedly being murdered by her housemate has been identified.

He did not apply for bail and was not required to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Friday after spending the night behind bars on remand.Superintendent Christine McDonald said at a media conference on Thursday Ms Kiss, in her 50s, suffered fatal stab wounds, with"significant and multiple injuries" to her upper body. According to the Daily Telegraph, she also suffered a cut throat.
She told reporters that she knew the victim and the other housemates moved into the residence “about five to six weeks ago”.
