A mining company that claims a planned winery expansion will have a 'huge' impact on the landscape near where it wants to build a gold mine, loses a bid to stop the development.

after its lawyers were accused of engaging in bullying and intimidation against Bird in Hand.

Terramin's lawyer, Nicolas Manetta, told the Environment, Resources and Development Court that Bird in Hand's proposal was a "huge development that goes way outside the limits that are set in respect of the threshold for non-complying developments". The submission also said the development would "impose on the established natural and rural character and the rolling vegetated landscape".
