Australia...? What happens now? Majority or minority Coalition government - this is how it will look auspol19 AusVotes2019

When the outcomes have been declared by the Electoral Commission, after re-counts if necessary, the names of the winners will be certified and attached to the election writs which will then be “returned” to the governor-general for House of Representatives seats and the state governor for a state’s representatives in the Senate.

Scott Morrison has been returned as prime minister, but we don’t yet know if the Coalition will get to the 77 seats it needs to form majority government. This means that parliament will have to sit by the end of July. It is likely to be a short sitting to deal with the formalities. If it wins 76 seats, it is trickier. Either it convinces an independent to take up the Speaker’s office, or it provides the speaker itself. If it provides the Speaker, then it potentially has a 75 to 75 tie on the floor of the House, unless it is supported by independents, meaning that the Speaker would have to give a casting vote.

Minority EQ majority muppets.

Well yanno how they refused to turn up to parliament until the election? More of that sounds good. Also would be super convenient if a bunch of em got disqualified again.

Whatever it is foreign white European-Anglo-Christians like Morrison will continues to destroy sustainable Australia as they have been doing since first contact as illegal immigrant terrorists with guns & boat people!

Given who'll form it - we're fucked if they can govern alone.

Coalition has a chance with influence of Palmer and Hanson: Kenny | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says his 'rule of thumb' is that the Coalition needs a primary vote of more than 42 to stand a chance of success at a federal election. \n\nThe latest Newspoll shows both major parties saw increases in the primary vote, with the Liberal Party leading Labor 39 to 37 per cent. \n\nWhile the Liberal Party has increased, Mr Kenny says it is still 'three short from that magic 42 number’. \n\nDespite this, he says this year is different due to the joint influence of Pauline Hanson and Clive Palmer, who are polling eight points together. \n\nMr Kenny says ‘this changed dynamic means there is a possibility the Coalition could win with a primary vote as low as 40’. \n\nImage: News Corp Australia \n\n\n\n\n\n Well, that is one short of 43 which is God’s for them because they couldn’t count that far in the latest Liberal leadership spill when Turnbull was knifed without an explanation. Liberals always need someone help, their are in collisions with National and even that is not enough to keep them in poverty, they need another 2-3 party’s to be voted in power, plus they need multinasionals and Murdoch Muppet to fix Election. It just shows how Liberals are popul Don’t worry Chris, when Labor win the election you can go back to full on criticism of them in govt. You carry on like it’s the end of the world.
