With authorities failing to take action, this concerned father took matters into his own hands. 9News

A parent turned Stormtrooper is taking matters into his own hands, drawing attention to a missing school crossing on the Gold Coast.

His wife, Sally Wiseman, has been campaigning for a zebra crossing to be installed on Fairway Drive after one of their children narrowly escaped being hit by a car."The kids were crossing one day and they went to cross and a car sped up on them and almost hit our child. It's getting beyond a joke," Mrs Wiseman said.
