National MP Keith Pitt has questioned why the National Farmers' Federation (NFF) is pushing for 'exit payments' to help farmers leave the land rather than fighting for them to stay. AMAgenda

National MP Keith Pitt has questioned why the National Farmers' Federation is pushing for 'exit payments' to help farmers leave the land rather than fighting for them to stay. “Why wouldn't you fight for funds for farmers to stay?" the MP for Hinkler said.

The Queensland Minister’s comments come after the NFF put forward six policy suggestions to the government to consider when addressing the drought and the farmers worst affected. The measures included exit packages for farmers, dole-like payroll payments, urgent local council rate relief, rural school funding and funding to eradicate feral pigs.

They want to sell it to multinationals theres several ways to help farmers 1st allow hemp to be grown nationwide and set up biocubes to produce bio diesel secondly set up commercial solar on farming properties that will perform when sun wants to shine 😃

Irrigation is key to this drought problem, we have a wet season every year up north. ScottMorrisonMP and others are employed to implement solutions like this for the people of this country, how long do you need PM.

This is unbelievable. Why, maybe infiltrated by these left wing females? Tell them to close down or just piss-off. NFF has had its day. Scrap heap operatives.

THE COALITION GOVERNMENT TELLING FARMERS TO SELL THEIR FARMS..presumably on the cheap to the LNP’s mining foreign corporations and Chinese mates IS TREASONOUS

Just take the water rights off the corporate goonies. Build pipes now not next year. Just who does the government work for? You ?haha haha 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Help them to stay. The rains will come and their experience is too valuable to lose. Help them to prepare for the next big drought. Everyone can agree now that we need to manage our water better. We have a lot of smart in this country, lets use it. No more foreign takeovers.

Why?.....because it'll assist in achieving the governments' Paris targets. Less cows farting, less tractors burning diesel, more water for the environment. Win, win for the gov, be damned everyone else.

Obviously the NFF isn’t the voice of the farmers. It may have been once but I think that was along time ago, This like other well founded organisations are no longer the same voice that created them. It’s been taken over by self centered bureaucrats !!

ThisisRaysBlog Fed& state governments should pay Australian farmers to stay on until drought breaks , AUSTRALIAN FOOD SOVEREIGNTY CRITICAL, also PROHIBIT any foreigner owning more than 49% of rural or mining land here ( but zero % would be better)

Lima Agreement.

AStrongerOZ Like the Anglican Nationals MP's they want farmers off the land so they will be locked up and perhaps transferred to Native Title Groups as the Andrews government did with 500 million of tax payers properties to one indigenous group. You just can't trust any of these elites.

AusAntiLeft Because they want to sell us to china

Hon Keith Pitt is passionate and perhaps he could help farmers 🤔

Why not pay them to train in alternative farming techniques and land rehabilitation? May as well use their considerable knowledge to save something rather than driving a truck or whatever

United Nations Agenda 21 & 30 want's to stop tillage & get farmers off their land to stop production. That means famine & mass starvation to reduce our numbers.

NFF are obviously not working on behalf of farmers but on behalf of corporate globalists. On the other hand some farmers want an exit and there ought to be assistance with some consolidation of property or formation of cooperatives.

Because the government has an agreement with TPP and that means more then our farmers 😰😰😰😰😰😰 Slowmo is a lying when he says his giving farmers help he was to import from Indonesia 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 ScottMorrisonMP 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Non stop drought maybe the new normal. Not much point trying to grow shit in a soon to be desert.

Dry land farming + climate change = dessert farming = renewable energy (wind and solar)

National Party can't talk after what Barnaby recently just said....🤔

Sounds a bit strange to me. Who does the NFF want to buy the farms/land?

Maybe the NFF, which is for the farmers instead of political fantasy, realise that pissing in the wind of an uneconomical farming dream is daft?

Yes, my question too. It would seem buying out the farmers is being pushed. Why? To sell to China. Our government is failing our farmers.
