This year's ranking is the largest ever, featuring over 1500 universities across 105 higher education systems.The University of New South Wales came in at number 19.
The Sydney-based education provider was ranked 25th globally for employment outcomes and 29th for global employer reputation.The education provider said it offers Australia's broadest range of disciplines and offers more than 400 areas of study to choose from.Cornell University in New York offers more than 75 undergraduate programs and 129 postgraduate programs.A third Australian university has graced the list.
The university received a score of 100 per cent in citations per faculty, faculty to student ratio and international faculty ratio.Stanford University in the US came in at number six, achieving scores of 100 for academic reputation and employer reputation.Another famous university, Harvard University, came in at number four.
It is the oldest higher education institution in the United States and is widely regarded as a leading world university.Imperial College London is the second best university on the list.
