South Korea, Sweden and the United Kingdom are innovating in their recycling industries, leaving Australia to play catch up.

"I know that Australia has a background of maybe not being the most well-known country for good behaviour when it comes to the environment," Mr Andersson said.

In 1995, South Korea was one of the worst countries in the world for food waste, recycling just 2 per cent of its waste. "After laying a foundation for the system, the government did lots of public relations work and educated citizens with the local governments and civic groups," said Juchang Yi, director of South Korea's Waste-to-Energy division in its Ministry of Environment.

Don’t buy mass manufactured packaged crap to start with.

sending it to india was the best idea..........its trash heaven

We could cut food waste easily by allowing diners to take home unfinished food from restaurants. You simply don't know what size serves are when you order but the number of restaurants falsely citing 'health regulations' in Qld to prevent take aways is growing. qldhealth

‘Zoomers’ want Sky News Australia ‘cancelled’ over Australia Day TikTokSky News host Paul Murray says “zoomers” appeared to hate Sky News Australia’s TikTok, slamming Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe’s Australia Day tweet, where she questioned who would be celebrating “invasion, murder and theft”. He said these people want Sky News Australia “cancelled”. “A website run by a bunch of middle-aged people pretending to be young, Pedestrian TV, decided to show the hate towards the one about Australia Day, in part because it was made by us here at Sky News,” he said. Becuase tik tok isn't your platform. You appeal to the older generation. Tik tok is for younger members of society, with totally different views to yours. Not sure why this is head scratching. You wouldn't like the place Paul, people are able to clap back at nonsense and the median age isn't 60 🙂 Low ratings don’t mean you’re cancelled. It’s just you put out a crap show.

Albanese govt has a ‘deliberate’ agenda at the World Economic ForumThe Australian government has a “deliberate” agenda to be prosecuted at the Davos World Economic Forum, Assistant Trade and Manufacturing Minister Tim Ayres says. “We have a very deliberate careful agenda that I’ll be prosecuting at Davos, there will be a series of meetings of world trade ministers there,” Mr Ayres told Sky News Australia. “Focused on WTO reform, that will be really important for shaping the agenda in Australia’s national interest. “Making sure we deliver a high-quality EU Australia free trade agreement.” You really should employ people of English-speaking backgrounds to write your headlines. Is this our agenda or China's agenda ? I don't recall voting for wef.
