Victoria is emerging from lockdown at 11.59pm tonight. What's open and what remains closed? Should I still work from home? What's happening with schools? Do I need a mask? Where can I travel? These are the new rules. covid19vic victorialockdown

The Andrews government will scrap the five-kilometre restriction on movement and reopen school for all year levels as the state prepares to slowly ease out of its fifth lockdown.

In this article you will find a run through of the new rules for the state, to apply from 11.59pm on Tuesday, July 27.It will be updated as new information becomes available so please check back for the latest information.The limit on travel beyond five kilometres will be scrapped. Home visits, however, are still banned.Masks are still required inside and outdoors.Hospitality businesses will reopen, subject to strict density limits.

Lockdown eases not lockdown ends. this is just us being moved from solitary confinement to maximum security not being paroled and given back our freedom, its just a slightly less confinement for the next 2 weeks at least.

Legit question…community sport is back but outdoor gatherings are limited to 10. My daughter is in a sport tournament next week where there are 180 participants outdoors. Which takes precedence…the tournie or outdoor gathering cap?
