Time to get rid of sharks nets altogether.

Is the Fisheries Minister amongst those who were trying to free the whale to get a hands on feeling of his neglect of not even the ABC Brisbane Radio this morning question but of the Whales who were protected from Whaling decades ago? Labor may regret this neglect at Election20?

China accuses Australia of making 'baseless' cyberattack claims | Sky News AustraliaChina’s foreign ministry has denied responsibility for sustained cyberattacks, instead accusing Australia of making “baseless” claims. \n\nPrime Minister Scott Morrison on Friday confirmed all levels of government were targeted in a “malicious” cyberattack launched by a “sophisticated state-based actor”. \n\nMr Morrison refused to name the state responsible but strategic security experts pointed the finger at Beijing. \n\nMinistry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Geng Shuang said the hacking claims originated from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) and accused the organisation of creating an “anti-China” agenda. \n\n“It has been hyping up, or creating all kinds of anti-China topics,” he said. \n\n“The attacks and the blame coming from this institute against China is totally baseless and nonsense.” \n\nChina's Ministry of Foreign Affairs went on to claim China was “the biggest victim of cyberattacks” and therefore a “staunch upholder of cyber security”. \n Hey ChinaLiedPeopleDied when will you stop attacking other countries snd when will you stop lying about it? Everyone's had enough of your Terrorism Interesting that China’s being overly defensive when they haven’t been directly accused.

'Soaking in hate' won't solve the racial divide in Australia | Sky News AustraliaSky News Chris Smith says it is time to “highlight the breakthroughs” between indigenous and non-indigenous people and promote a level of “respect” for the past which ultimately laid the foundation for modern Australia.\n\nHis comment responded to the “copycat” Black Lives Matter protests transplanted from the United States to Australia, which have “reignited” more anti-Cook hatred overflowing into the vandalism of Cook statues.\n\nMr Smith said “not all indigenous Australians prefer to soak themselves in hate, about the arrival of a white-skinned navigator and explorers from some foreign land”. \n\nHe pointed to Cooktown in far north Queensland where locals hold a re-enactment each year of the arrival of Captain Cook who spent 48 days in the region while repairing the Endeavour, which ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef.\n\nA Cooktown elder, from the Guugu Yimithirr people, is still believed to have instigated the first act of reconciliation ever, by presenting Cook with a broken-tipped spear which was a sign between mobs, that there's no need for bloodshed after an altercation between the two parties.\n\nOverall, Captain Cook's crew had largely amicable dealings with the local people and recorded more than 130 words of their language.\n\nMr Smith said after 250 years, “it’s time all of us accepted the positives and negatives of the time white and black people came together”. \n So which elements should be tolerated then? Name them. That’s the issue, promote hate, than that’s all that gets soaked up.

Australia and communist China 'engaged in new Cold War' | Sky News AustraliaThe Institute of Public Affairs’ Gideon Rozner says the diplomatic relationship between Australia and the Communist Party of China is at a point where we are now 'defending ourselves against them in what I think is a new Cold War'. \n\nHe said Foreign Minister Marise Payne recently delivered a 'magnificent and sensational speech' in which she 'said what needed to be said'. \n\nOn Wednesday, Ms Payne accused Beijing of spreading disinformation and called for the reform of global bodies including the World Health Organisation in her first major speech on the post-COVID climate.\n\n'At the heart of successful international cooperation is the concept each country shares rather than yields a portion of its sovereign decision making,' Ms Payne said.\n\n'The big problem we've had in confronting china up until now, is that the Chinese have this confected oversensitivity against any and all criticism,' Mr Rozner told Sky News.\n\n'Any criticism of China's human rights record'.\n\n'Their militarisation of the South China Sea, their treatment of Hong Kong or Tibet.\n\n'Or indeed their apparent territorial ambitions over the Indian border.\n\n'If we can't even criticise china and call them out for what they're doing, how are we going to defend ourselves against them.'\n\nImage: AP Rideon Gozner Think hehe Someone has a target on its back

'Predicted nuclear winter' could escalate from India, China clashes | Sky News AustraliaRMIT’s Joe Siracusa says the dispute between China and India is important as they all 'have nuclear weapons,' and the Communist Party should be wary as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi 'is not afraid of a war'. \n\nIndia claimed on Tuesday that 20 soldiers were killed by Chinese forces in border clashes which happened after several weeks of stand offs in the western Himalayas. \n\n'This clash is in the exact place where china and India fought a war in WWII,' Mr Siracusa told Sky News. \n\nHe said he believed India will 'increasingly turn to Japan. the United States and even to Australia' as clashes continue with China. \n\nI think because of the pressure that China is putting on India, and keep in mind here, the Indians can give the Chinese a lesson here, \n\n'In the meantime, I think the Chinese will put a lot of pressure on Pakistan to put a lot of pressure on India'. \n\n'In 1962, all these people were going at each other, but they didn't have nuclear weapons.\n\n'Today, all the players in south Asia have nuclear weapons. \n\nAnd in exchange of 10 or 15 missiles there, warheads, would induce the nuclear winter there that Carl Sagan predicted in the 1980s. \n\n'Will they use nuclear weapons for a border dispute ... Not because they want to, but because it might escalate or accidentally move into that area.' \n\nImage: AP The Indian government paid public respect to the 20 Indian soldiers killed in Galvan. However, even after 48 hours, China continued to cover up its casualties like crona deaths Not Good. First ask CCP will they attack us to revenge (43/44/35 ) chinese soldiers 🙏😊😂😂
