Ivona Jovanovic, 27, was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital on Sunday night after she was shot in a Highland Park home owned by her mother’s ex-boyfriend. She died a short time later.
But as detectives work through the case, Ms Jovanovic’s family were furious about one detail police did confirm. “It’s disgraceful,” Supt Smith said, saying there was up to five people in the home when the alleged shooting occurred.
