'We will make it up to you': Liberals 'pinnacle' fundraiser delayed | kloussikian

The $750-a-year Pinnacle Club cocktail party — a major Liberal fundraiser scheduled for Monday — has been delayed indefinitely.at Melbourne’s invite-only Candela Nuevo, was to feature none other than embattled Liberal MPLiu, of course, has been in the spotlight recently after revelations that she may be a member of Chinese Communist Party-aligned local groups.

“I do apologise for late notice but due to unforeseen circumstances we are having to push Monday’s event to later in the year, we will be sure to make it up to you,” the Pinnacle Club told its members by email on Wednesday morning.Still, we wonder what happened to the $80-a-head party fundraiser last night, when the Chisholm 200 Club was scheduled to host guests at Liu's office.
