The US and Australia have both urged Britain to ban Huawei from supplying parts for its 5G network but a leak from the National Security Committee said May disagreed with five of her ministers: Liam Fox, Sajid Javid, Gavin Williamson, Penny Mordaunt and Jeremy Hunt and sided with the four remaining members of the committee to allow Huawei to supply non-core infrastructure such as antennas.
