Roosters coach Trent Robinson has staunchly defended fullback James Tedesco ’s position at fullback, slamming a reporter who asked what the Kangaroos captain brings to his team.
Robinson was stunned with the question and replied by saying: “I don’t think I’ll answer that question to be honest”. But still, NRL360 host Braith Anasta was left stunned that Tedesco’s fullback credentials were coming into question. Meanwhile, The Daily Telegraph’s Paul Kent explained he believes Tedesco’s return to form in 2024 comes down to the Roosters halves.“I think he struggled because his halves were struggling, and he couldn’t get the ball where he needed to get the ball last year,” Kent said.
