Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has told interstate travellers stranded in the "red zones" of Sydney and Brisbane it was still not safe to bring them home as the state's hotel quarantine prepared for the arrival of 1200 Australian Open tennis players and their entourages.
More than 82 per cent of applications were from green zones, 9 per cent from orange zones and the remainder were from people seeking worker permits or trying to transit through orange and red zones.on Thursday of his growing frustration with his home state’s government while a leading epidemiologist said health authorities should be able to cope with large numbers of travellers returning to isolation or home quarantine.

My concern is are people going to home quarantine? Can they take that responsibility & accountability? People have chosen to flout the rules, so really the question needs to be asked. Whilst they might home quarantine what about others coming & going from that place of residence?

Why is DanielAndrewsMP not acknowledging the stranded VIC residents? What is ScottMorrisonMP doing? I’m a stranded resident and it’s really distressing living in limbo when my house (that I’m paying a mortgage on), job, belongings and life etc are in Melbourne.
