The State Government has launched a $1.8 million advertising blitz to recruit police officers following its budget commitment to add an extra 800 police if re-elected in March.

Police Minister Michelle Roberts said the advertising campaign was intended to broaden the police force.

"The Let's Join Forces campaign is really punctuated by our values of duty, teamwork, integrity and care, so we want people with moral courage and we want people that reflect the community that we serve," he said. Police Commissioner Chris Dawson says the aim is to recruit prospective officers with "moral courage".

It’s a low bar to be a Police ‘person’ in WA.

Hey ABC, cat got your tongue, or you just don't have the guts to answer peoples questions...

Planning to hold off the separatist movement? Or the other side? Could go either way.

'We want to make sure the WA Police Force is diverse' Really, It's the police force. All the drama with police now days surely you would want the best? 😜

Mark McGowan is going to win the state election and any federal election the LNP will be hurt 🤔
