All travellers arriving in Western Australia from Queensland must be tested for COVID-19 and self-quarantine for 14 days or until they return a negative test, the WA government has announced.The directive is effective immediately, meaning all arrivals must get tested within 48 hours.

Authorities say the "interim border control" will be in place until at least 12.01am on Tuesday March 30.The WA government said further border control measures could be introduced, based on updated health advice. "It's also crucial for any arrivals from Queensland in the last 14 days to monitor their own health and if any symptoms present, they should go get tested immediately," WA Health Minister Roger Cook said.

QLD premier has already said that other premiers have their rights to open or close their borders with QLD. So if you want your borders closed with QLD, ask your Premier.

Wow I do feel sorry for these states, why do their health authorities have so little confidence in controlling transmissions? 👎 Border closures and Lockdowns should be the last resort like the other states not the1st. 👎 Glad I live in NSW. 👍
