Liberal Senator JimMolan says he spent several days with the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and the volunteers made it clear that did not want to be paid.

Liberal Senator Jim Molan says he spent several days with the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and the volunteers made it clear that did not want to be paid. However, Mr Molan said volunteers should be “compensated for loss of income”.

“It is a really good thing what we have done today,” he told Sky News. “The government has announced there will be compensation for loss of income which preserves the volunteering system but also compensates a number of people who are employees of small businesses or are self-employed.” Image: News Corp Australia

JimMolan Well he’s not losing any holiday pay is he

JimMolan JimMolan - another lying Liberal!

JimMolan Jim Nolan, voted out but then dropped into the Senate by LNP dodgy dealings is a most obnoxious, indeed odious character and not a wise selection for our Parliament. Trust Sky News to report his BS. Fortunately few listen.

JimMolan patriarchal values and behaviours get repeated generation after generation? Who are military veterans? Poor people who have no financial stability. Males, new roles, seem to clean up the mess that their governments have made. I

JimMolan JimMolan doesn't understand people are fkn dying bc they are too proud and are committing suicide etc bc the narrative via concentration of media over the last 25 is concentrated in the hands of the few: manipulate to pass their archaic policies for archaic vested interests.

JimMolan Easy statement to make can Jim provide proof

JimMolan The clue here is the word volunteer.

JimMolan why do you propagate lies?

JimMolan Molan a known liar, a man without a shred of integrity

JimMolan BULLSHIT. He's shaming them into saying they don't want compensation for their time.

JimMolan Stipulate locations, Brigades & date, not those with HQ who get Salaries, otherwise Jim is speaking absolute 💩

JimMolan Prove it.. How many?

JimMolan Ok. I suggest all those that said so to Molan roll over their share to those that want to. That way all get what they want

JimMolan Another true story that totally happened

JimMolan Has Jim been over the mountains ? Out here they are exhausted and fighting the fires since July 😡😡😡😡😡

JimMolan Bullshit how are they going to cover the household needs ?

JimMolan Did he ask all of them?

JimMolan Again, ThisIsNotJournalism

JimMolan Molan speaks with forked tongue.

JimMolan Deranged war criminal Molan can suck salty balls for I care! ScottyfromMarketing ClimateEmergency auspol

JimMolan Why are you consorting with the Butcher of Fallujah? A man who permitted the use of white phosphorus on innocent women and children in breach of the Geneva convention. Scraping the bottom of the barrel!

JimMolan Several days? Bullshit Jim

JimMolan How about you start calling yourselves skyaust because you never report news. This is simply relaying the political lies of a demented old man who likes white phosphorus

JimMolan How credible is the butcher of Fallujah!

JimMolan Prove it. I wouldn't believe a word he says unless I hear and see it myself. auspol MSM

JimMolan Stop this lying crap reporting ! These people need to be helped financially .

JimMolan He already gets paid by taxpayers plus his rorts auspol ScottFromMarketing s LiarFromTheShire l Lnp crooks

JimMolan Utter shite. And in other news all Sky News employees are now willing to work for free.

JimMolan Bullshit.

JimMolan Barnaby Joyce could take a leaf from their book. AustraliaBurns

JimMolan I wish the Senate had the same sense of civic duty.

JimMolan Simples. Pay the ones who want it. The others can forgo payment. One other thing: Isn’t Sky related to NewsCorp, considered to be the riskiest company for not paying fair share of tax in Aus. TAX THAT COULD BE USED TO REMUNERATE VOLUNTEERS 🤬🤬🤬

JimMolan

JimMolan Several days of harrassing and badgering volunteer fire fighters more like. Theses men and women have gone way past the deadline, have used up all their leave entitlements and still continue to protect. So now Molan wants employers to dig deeper with this fabrication.

JimMolan If the volunteers get paid, what do we then call them, because they are not volunteers anymore?

JimMolan Offer it-and those who need /want can access it . Those who do not, can say no. One wonders at the morality of expecting volunteers to keep on working with no time off and no pay for months

JimMolan And Scott from marketing bought this back from his Hawaii holiday for Tony the fireman for dash of his fire truck too.... Jim seriously for the 4 weeks I was at the fire, none of the farmers or residents who worked day/night got paid either... the NPs firefighters did though

JimMolan B.S.

JimMolan Bullshit

JimMolan Bullshit! More ThisIsNotJournalism from Rupert Murdoch Media

JimMolan Sure. Trust me, I’m a Politician.

JimMolan War criminal speaking for firefighters. So wrong.

JimMolan Please: if someone knows a way to volunteer to save animals from fires, I have experience dealing with animals, please I want to volunteer for free and I do not want any compensation, I am now in Greece and ready as soon as I am called, and I will help in extinguishing fires too,

JimMolan Deputy Nationals Leader Bridget McKenzie says a lot of fire brigades have been “struggling to find volunteers” and we shouldn't 'leave it up to someone else' to volunteer.

JimMolan Jim Molan is a liar... let's move on AustraliaBurns auspoI

JimMolan Maybe they should be allowed to ask individually and not as a group. I'm sure some volunteer fire fighters are feeling more of a pinch than others

JimMolan I really don’t understand SkyNews.. Why is nearly everyone of their opinions so backwards and heartless? What is so wrong about paying the volunteers? How does this affect Rupert? The greed is insane.

JimMolan Of course he would.

Lynny_Pinnie JimMolan Electors told Molan he wasn’t wanted but here he is again on the public teat spreading BS and lies ad nauseam

JimMolan Jim was probably also down at the local shops chatting with the butcher, with whom he has much in common. How the f**k do we get these people in Parliament? Liars, cheats, even war criminals. Bugger me!

JimMolan HORSE SHIT ! The onset begins. Pick outa spot near the window Jim.

JimMolan UTTER BULLSHIT !!!!!! He obviously didn't speak to the ones who don't know how they are going to make ends meet and pay their mortgage and other bills due to having ZERO in their bank account. Once again this Government is so out of touch and have no idea.

JimMolan JimMolan seriously mate you should have stayed hime in retirement.

JimMolan I want to hear it from them. Any chance of interviewing random, not handpicked by Liberal party?. Maybe a journalist with some balls, nah don't see that happening.

JimMolan He spoke to all of them? Even those who bought equipment out of their own pockets and the ones who have taken out loans to feed their families?

JimMolan Things are quite different now with a climate emergency.

JimMolan Yeah, right.

JimMolan My sources inform me that politicians don’t want to be paid either. Further more, they will be donating all their past salaries to charity. Well if you believe JimMolan you can believe me.

JimMolan The Butcher of Fallujah...... unusual nickname

JimMolan That still not being paid - just compensated - d-head

Lynny_Pinnie JimMolan

nyunggai JimMolan That’s great for those he spoke to. Like everything in life, the voices of a few do not speak for all.

JimMolan Holy shit. Desperation stakes at Sky. Quoting Molan.

JimMolan What rubbish Jim Molan! Plenty of firefighters have been interviewed and say otherwise but their opinions aren't aired by LNP-biased Sky News.

JimMolan they have been on the line for two months - a small business will find it hard to pay their wages

JimMolan This would be the same Jim who said he would serve 1 term then vacate the seat but went to war with nationals to hold it at the election and then liberals brought him back? That pathological lying Jim?

JimMolan Wow what a shock he can make a broad statement yet can't give you any a single example or name of anyone who said it 😂 😂 😂

JimMolan Did he ask their Husbands/Wives/Partners? Because it’s them that are home trying to find money to pay the bills and put food on the table.

JimMolan Not the message I got from our local RFS team this morning who've been fighting a fire for 6 weeks, they're hurting. This is not about making money its about making ends meet. If some don't need the support then don't claim but in the country areas many do.

JimMolan 🙄

JimMolan Remember Fallujah Jim

JimMolan Is that the same Jimbo Molan that torched Fallujah in Iraq ? 🔥🔥🔥

JimMolan Who would believe that baby killer, should be in jail for war crimes

nswfire JimMolan Good paying them wold never work not enough money to pay them all

JimMolan he should've left 'em alone to fight the fires. can't wait to sack him again.

JimMolan Failed to be elected so he's parachuted into a vacant seat. So he disagrees with Flip-flop Scamo then, right?

JimMolan They should never be out of pocket ever

JimMolan Jim has been watching too much Baghdad Bob or Comical Ali or whatever his name was...

JimMolan Hey Jimbo can we get you working for nothing which would match your capabilities?

Neither does Jim.

JimMolan And we are to believe him? A member of a party who take delight in lying. yeah right

JimMolan Molan would be in his element on the front line of a bushfire. The horrific screams of native animals being burned to death would for him be reminisce of Iraqi women and children being bombed in Baghdad. Good on you Jim. There was a time when MP’s were also not paid.

JimMolan And you believe him ? Far out never mind all the recordings of the volunteers screaming out for more of everything !

JimMolan Go away SKYnews

JimMolan Well quick straw poll here on the Sth Coast says 38 of us haven't seen him and he's full of shit. Did he compensate his Soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan? And they weren't actually fighting for exposed Australians 😩.

JimMolan Ergo, the majority of our volunteer fire fighters are wealthy & have no mortgage or rent to pay.

JimMolan its not compulsory to accept the payment if volunteers feel it compromises and undermines their ethos re their reason for volunteering but it should be available to all not just in nsw. it shows just how out of touch the pm and his advisers are.

JimMolan They are not being paid they are being compensated for loss of income

JimMolan Who believes Jim ?

JimMolan Big Jim called in phosphorus airstrikes on the fire.

JimMolan

JimMolan Who's he been speaking to Tony Abbott and others from the Manly-Warringah crew? If the volunteers put tools down, then what? The government would have to call in the army. I've heard from many self-employed that they are struggling as they have been fighting fires for months.

JimMolan Problem is easy to solve. Any volunteer who qualifies and could do with the cash should say 'yes'......the others should say 'no'. Simple auspol

JimMolan This is just stuff you cannot make up, the LNP and ScottFromMarketing get dragged screaming like 8 year old taken out of the Toy section in BigW by the Opposition leader and twitter and you try to spin it like you planned on doing this. Lmao

JimMolan Bull shit

nyunggai JimMolan and hands up who believes him?

JimMolan All depends who asking who takes notice of person who put party not by people

JimMolan Seems like a new campaign by the Mordoch media to push for no pay for these people. Daily Telegraph editorial and now Sky news is pushing this. We will see who is running Australia.

JimMolan Bullshit.

JimMolan This is a dilemma, No pay wanted No pay wanted but under financial stress Want pay, and not be called a volunteer. Whilst some have critisised the ADF, when will those same people demand the fit and able unemployed get involved?

JimMolan When fire fighting becomes a full time job, it should be paid.

JimMolan So this lib guy says to the rfs guys ‘who would like some money’. & all of them replied no thanks. & you expect people to believe that .🤣🤣🤣

JimMolan Bollocks.

JimMolan Bullshit.

JimMolan The RFS has had quite a bit of trouble with some volunteers lighting fires so they can then go out and fight them and be called “heroes”. Throw cash bonuses into the mix and there’ll be far more incentive for the firebugs in their ranks to engage in arson

Child activists need to know commodity industry 'keeps this country afloat' | Sky News AustraliaKristy McSweeny Principal at PR Counsel says activists urging students to protest Australia’s coal industry need to remember the 178 billion dollars’ worth of exports “keeps this country afloat”.\n\nSchool Strike for Climate Australia released a brochure claiming climate change is fuelled by mining and burning of coal which is enabled by the Australian government, whilst urging children to spread these words to family and friends.\n\nMs McSweeney told Sky News the government “has a responsibility to keep the economy afloat and the lights on” and the 178 billion dollars’ worth of exports in commodities “keeps this country afloat”.\n\nImage: Getty\n Australia may be the largest exporter but it is no where near the largest producer. Whilst climate activists may feel good at trying to stop Australian coal exports it will have negligible effect on climate change. Activists ignore mentioning 50% are coking coal exports. Why? ... and burning that same coal will sink it. Thankyou. Fortunately, many of these kids will start paying tax at some point. Once they do, they’ll change their minds, and the more tax they pay, the more pro-coal they’ll become.
