Why?

Shame with all the money they have we still have to pay for their visit. They should charge the people who go wait to see them and not the ones who don’t care !!!

I fken hate the royals..they never pay for shit and are the richest c***s in the UK.

That’s very good value.

So what. The media exposure is worth a lot more than that.

why do we pay for this ?

BJafari Sounds pretty reasonable really for a trip that long that generated that much interest... At least they didn't build a stadium! 🤷

I don't agree with spending money on the privileged when we could be spending it on farmers in distress or hospital admissions. How about on mental health issues - or disability.

At lest we hat value of of The Duke & Duchess. We get no value from are rorting. Politicians. Helicopters RAAF $40.000 to fly from Perth to Melbourne. Hasn’t Corman heard of video conference.Cost of a phone call Bishop millions in trips to Adelaide for her birthday

Who cares it was well worth it .The LNP triple that on Rorts Politicians need to live by their means .Not the taxpayers.

Worth every cent. Think of how much the Invictus Games and other interest in Australia it generated. Plus think of places like Dubbo where they visited it’s priceless. Stop being wowsers

hang the parasites

The revenue from the tour would have been 10 times that! Report the facts SNA!

What do we pay for Australian Open, Tour Down Under, etc., etc.? Exposure to overseas markets is a commercial commodity like anything else.

Cheaper than the UN. And do more.

That was just their travel and accommodation costs? $31,000 per day. What about all the Govt. employees & politicians involved - their expenses would probably match that figure!

Old news. Ask the people of Dubbo if they believe the the $500k was money well spent.

What a f**king waste of money that was 😠

I want my money back.

So what, Newcastle just spent $600 million for a train to replace a train. You ain't special

Money well spent Every body loves Harry 🤴

$31,250 a day.... we are a humble country, but this is BS. If they want live it up, do it on their pence. we need to put a cap on their trips. Basic essentials only.

Compared to $444 million to small company enjoying living close to the Barrier Reef $500k is nothing.

Money well spent. Thank god we didn’t spend it on hospitals.

Good Value compared to what we spend on our Politicians for No or Very Little Value!

Worth every cent a great endorsement of our culture & historical sites etc viewed by people all over the world cheap advertising

could have been better spent

A good investment Paid back in increased tourism many times over I'm sure

Sounds pretty cheap to me . 500k doesn’t get you a lot

What a waste! If the royals want us to remain in the commonwealth, they can start paying their own bills.

Petty to object. Imagine how much the attending media brought in.

What a wicked waste of taxpayers money, that money could have gone to a much worthwhile cause.

Can we have a vote next time? It’s about time politicians stopped being so loose with others’ money.

Why is that news everyone knows it costs

Do we claim anything back next tax year

Chicken feed compared to the money we waste on ineffectual unrequired public servants and foreign aid.

ROI was ok 👌

They should pay - Not Australia tax payers .

Just another reason to end the monarchy!

Would rather fork out on their majesties than the left wing lynch mob. God save the Queen.

I hope it’s tax deductible ?

They are one of the most wealthy families and we pay a fortune to bring them here. Why? I want a republic.

Well clearly this is upsetting news , what do you think .TonyAbbottMHR ?

So?

Globalists raping the earth of its wealth They are only here to take

Well, of course, this sounds completely reasonable. After all, we have loads of extra tax money to spend on these two and their retainers instead of schools, and health. They obviously need it more than outback kids, the poor and such.

Well worth the money . Hope they come back again and again and again ? Everytime they come or Will and Kate it refreshes the public’s love and regard for our monarchy and puts another nail in the republican movements coffin ⚰️

It's not like they are poor.😩

And yet Australian citizens cant work in or emigrate to the UK easily. Whats the point of the Commonwealth and having their Queen as our head of state? What is it exactly that we get from the arrangement?

Rather spend on that than long lunches for inept politicians

Parasites Why should anyone be funding these people, can't we evolve past rulers, leaders and royalty. Ugh.

Better than the equivalent in rorts for current politicians & their mates who only preach hate, intolerance, exclusion. At least these young people royals are developing meaningful community orgs & messages of hope.

Soft diplomacy has its price.

Thankfully you're no longer in a position to do this. Should we abrogate all responsibility to international polity?
