A tribunal has cancelled plans to deport a repeat abuser who attacked his partner in the NSW town of Orange after years of criminal behaviour.

A serial domestic violence abuser who attacked his last partner with a baseball bat because she was working too much will stay in Australia after a tribunal cancelled plans to kick him out.

“ accused Ms D of cheating on him as he had not seen her the previous night, Ms D explained that it was due to her working,” Administrative Appeals Tribunal deputy president Antoinette Younes said last week.
